It's Tuesday! No more Palms and Praise...No Figs for Food. The mood is changing as we draw closer to the Cross.
Jesus and the disciples continue toward Jerusalem. When they arrive at the Temple, the chief priests and scribes begin questioning Jesus' authority. Faced with their hostility, Jesus simply CONTINUES doing ministry. Jesus continues speaking prophetically to corrupt power. Jesus continues to notice the poor giving out of their poverty. Jesus continues to teach in parables about the present day and the future. Jesus continues to focus on the mission. Anticipation, sorrow, and danger increases with each day. And on Tuesday, Jesus simply CONTINUES.
We are living in perilous and chaotic times, but I just believe because Jesus continued, through Him, we can also!
