It’s October, and that means it’s #ChurchAnniversaryMonth at Allen Temple! We’re overflowing with gratitude and great praise to our God as we celebrate 105 years of faith – rooted in Christ and reaching our world!

From Reverend J.L. Allen stepping out on faith with 21 borrowed chairs on Seminary Avenue in 1919, to being God’s hands and feet as a beacon of faith, hope, and love for Deep East Oakland, the Bay Area, and the world in the twenty-first century, God’s goodness has guided and sustained us every step of the way!

This legacy is more than a record of the past; it’s a vibrant witness to God’s enduring power, abundant grace, and the unwavering faithfulness and dedication of every soul that has journeyed with Allen Temple—a story still being written by God's loving and faithful hand.

Join us this month for a joyous time of worship, fellowship, and celebration for all ages as we honor this milestone and look forward with great expectation to the many blessings yet to come. See below for our events schedule—mark your calendar, invite your family & friends, and come be a part of our story! We look forward to worshipping, learning, and celebrating with each of you!
