Precious is the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
Psalm 116:15 (NKJV)
If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
1 Corinthians 12:26 (RSV)
A legacy gift is a gift made in recognition of a person or group. Here at Allen Temple, we use the term "Legacy Gift" to refer to both honor and memorial gifts. Birthdays, births, weddings, graduations, anniversaries and the inevitable passing of loved ones are part of the human experience. A more public yet personal way to acknowledge these life events is a gift in the name or names of those to be celebrated.
Allen Temple works diligently to be responsive to those in need locally, nationally and internationally and is motivation for us to give beyond our regular giving. In return, Allen Temple's numerous outreach activities and ministries will greatly benefit from our special occasion gifts.
