As we look toward 2026 and all that God has in store, we invite you to join the Prayer Warriors Ministry for our annual Prayer Consecration for the Allen Temple Baptist Church Family beginning January 1.
This year’s theme is “31 Days of Prayer: The ACTS of Prayer”—a focused journey through the ACTS prayer model: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. Each day, we will reflect on a scripture tied to one of these pillars as we strengthen our individual and collective prayer life.
To enhance our time of consecration will also feature daily devotional reflections on the ACTS model written by Allen Temple members, offering wisdom and inspiration from within our own church family.

We’re excited to launch a brand-new Basketball + STEM Program at Allen Temple in partnership with Science on the Court, combining training, tutoring, and technology for kids up to 12U! This unique partnership gives young athletes a place to develop their skills on the court while gaining confidence in math, reading, robotics, and coding in the classroom.

Is there a memory, person, or moment that still stirs a negative emotional response? Unforgiveness may be quietly shaping your inner life.
Our Center for Biblical and Family Studies presents Forgiveness: A Contemplative Path to Freedom taught by Servant B.K. Woodson on Tuesday evenings - January 27 through March 10 at 6:30 PM in the Family Life Center. So that participants may have a rich experience, the course is limited to 20 students. RSVP here.
This course invites believers into a deep, Spirit-led journey toward full freedom. Through guided reflection, Scripture, and contemplative practice, participants will explore the pain beneath their resistance and discover the liberating power of genuine forgiveness. Designed for those who confess Jesus Christ as risen and reigning, this session calls for honesty, courage, and a heart ready for transformation. Participants should come prepared for reflection, honesty, and a willingness to confront difficult truths in pursuit of lasting freedom.
