The Allen Temple Nursery Ministry serves parents and guardians by providing a safe, secure, and loving environment for children ages 6 months to 5 years while their families are in worship, Sunday School, or special events.
The Nursery is currently seeking volunteers to serve our youngest members and guests. Volunteers are asked to serve on Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM to 30 mins after dismissal of worship. Special event times will be shared.
The Nursery Ministry strives to provide:
- Care for children safely and lovingly
- Support parents so they can fully engage in worship/community
- Begin laying a spiritual foundation, even in the earliest years
- Reflect Christ through hospitality and service
Required onboarding includes:
- Interview with Deacons Ministry Chairperson and Nursery Ministry Director
- Background Check
- CPR certification (if not already certified)
- Child Safety Orientation
- Training on and adherence to Nursery Policy & Procedures Manual
