Believing that no one is beyond Christ’s love and power to transform, the Prison Ministry at Allen Temple Baptist Church reaches out to incarcerated individuals as an act of demonstrating the love and service of Jesus Christ. We understand an authentic change must take place from the inside out—beginning with a reconciled relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Inside our prisons, we work to minister to our brothers and sisters, lives are transformed as they learn new values and how to apply them, based on the life and teaching of Christ. By increasing their knowledge about the truth and power of Christ, they learn to think in a new way, act in a new way, and relate to others in a new way.
