The goals of the Allen Temple Foundation is to engage in the development and implementation of long range fund producing activities maintained upon a broad base of public support to perpetuate and enhance the economic, social and cultural wellbeing of the Oakland Community and other social and economically deprived communities; to establish planned giving gifts via endowments through the transfer of property from members and others, life insurance proceeds by virtue of being the beneficiary, cash donations, etc. to the Foundation. Said endowments would enable the Church to expand its community outreach ministries such as the Prison Ministry, Youth Ministry, Educational Programs, After School Music and Tutorial Programs, Athletic Programs for children and youth.
ATFI works with other Ministries of the Church to maximize the utilization of resources. Assist in building a higher level of knowledge about church assets and how they are managed. Raise and distribute funds in a fashion that will assist in supporting selected community programs offered by the Church and assist in eradicating some of the economic, social and medical ills that plague our community and humanity. ATFI is the sponsor of many church activities; serves as fiscal agent for grantees, etc.
